aha ……. its 2am now and i decide to share some of my stuff hack ideas

ok stuff hack?? well means improvising or use a thing to create another …….. BAH think simple …… my brain is not at creative mode so i stole the name from Ikea Hacker …… love that blog and thanks to moonchan …….. so yeah basically i love changing stuff ….. everything out there i see the potential of changing it into the one and only in the world!!! …. so basically its common to see me staring at something plain for hours LOL …….. thats me …. also, when i look at stuff, i always have this thought of how its made and the process of making it …….. i’m that curious!!

my stuff hacking idea is majority original …… if i ever see it anywhere on tutorials i will definitely credit the originator ….. and its not my fault that ideas claimed to have been generated from my brain is already floating out there quite a while  ……. that means i’m slow ……. you can laugh at me for that *bleh*

so stuff hack for today is Wooden Earring

yes the ones u get 3/4 for RM10 …..

well when i first saw this kind of earring …….. it was when i’m in Korea in 2007 (yes a year plus ago =.=) ….. very unique and very simple bohemian BUT after a few months later …….. omfg its selling like hotcakes here ……. totally got sick of it *zzng* …….. so i got this idea few months ago on adding an extra touch to make it different …… which i never wear…… its my sis’s

materials : wooden earring as shown, spray lacquer/nail polish topcoat, acrylic paint**
tools : pencil, blardy fine nylon paint brush*, creative brain, loads of initiative and patience, a pair of not so shaky hands LOL
* nylon paint brushes are the best in creating fine lines as it doesn’t have splits, suggest to get the goldie series size number 0 and bellow (which is 00 and 000)
** normal poster colour is usable but i state acrylic cuz poster colour sux ……..

1. draw the lines where you decide to paint ……… skip this if you have confidence on going freehand
2. paint according to the lines or graphics drawn ……. leave it asode to dry after completion
3. spray/apply a layer or two of spray lacquer/nail polish topcoat on the surface of the earring after paint dries completely
4. TADAHHHHH DONE!!!!

*tips :
- do not dillute the paint too much …. paint should remain thick and tacky texture
- try using jewelry pincer to remove the metal hook of the earring for painting freedom
- you can decorate it with other materials ….. crystals ….. glitter nail polish …….. etc

well very simple huh? well everything is just up to your creativity …….. have fun earring-hacking LOL
